As one of the largest Traffic Control Companies on the Gold Coast, we own and operate a large fleet of over 50 vehicles which are constantly involved in both Traffic Management, Security Services and Weed Spraying.

We are a Quality Assured Company and comply with the requirements of AS/NZS ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems and AS/NZS 4801:2001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems.

We engage the services of over 100 Accredited Traffic Control Officers and Security Guards on a 24 hour a day basis and we have six full time rostering and Management Staff.

Guardrite Officers have a vast knowledge of the Traffic Control and Security Industries and have ongoing training facilities which are mandatory for all those engaged by Guardrite to carry out their duties in a professional manner, providing quality service to our clients. Guardrite is a Quality Assured Company and takes every step required to satisfy our diverse and varied client base of both private organisations and local government authorities.

The Director and Principal of the Guardrite Group, Peter McPhillimy, has over 40 years experience in the Traffic Control, Security and Construction Industries and is directly involved in the day to day operations of the company. As Principle Instructor of our Training Organisation he ensures that all our personnel are fully accredited and qualified in all procedures and safety requirements for the Industry. Between 1983 and 2009, he has written, compiled, and had approved by the Education Department of Queensland, over 20 courses relating to the Security Industry, covering General Security, Security Management, Close Personal Protection, Weapons Instructors Courses, Self Defence and Dog Handling.

Peter has also written and compiled, assessed and authorised seven new courses in Traffic Control that are fully accredited by the Department of Education. These accredited courses will lead to official qualification which is recognised by the Department of Education and endorsed by Workplace Health and Safety Queensland. These accredited courses give pathway to the following certificates:

Certificate II in Traffic Control Operations
Certificate III in Signage Installation
Certificate IV in Traffic Control Signage Planning and Drafting and Risk Management and Auditing
