Coronavirus COVID-19 – Course attendance safety measures
With the increasing incidence of COVID-19 infections, Guardrite Industry Training’s focus is ensuring the health and safety of all students and staff with some sensible basic precautions – before and during your course participation to minimise the impact on students requiring completion of face to face training to meet security refresher, course or program components:
During this COVID-19 period, there are certain components that may require alternate delivery methods other than face to face to comply with the social distancing regulations. Please check with course administration prior to enrolment should you have any concerns.
Our responsibilities: Training venue, materials and student bookings
• current venue maintenance vigilance with antibacterial spray used before and after each course on all desk surfaces, door handles, equipment and pens
• antibacterial spray and tissues available for use by all students and staff.
Venue table layout modification to allow for distance seating and/or student seating preference i.e venue perimeter seating options. All training materials provided are in new and unused condition
In the instance of a student feeling unwell advised by email or calling 07 55975527 before their booked course date, priority rescheduling to next available course date will be actioned, or to an additional course date, if meets group activity assessment requirements.
Student responsibilities: Please observe basic hygiene etiquette
• Cough or sneeze? – do so into your elbow or sleeve, or used tissues disposed of immediately into the bin provided, and washing hands with soap before returning to your table. Avoid shaking hands with other students, keep your distance and observe others’ personal space.
• if you are unsure about symptoms of coronavirus and you can call 13 HEALTH if you believe you may have all of the symptoms to gain further advice and/or if you have traveled overseas in the past 14 days and feels unwell – call 07 55975527 to reschedule course attendance
