CPP31318 Certificate III in Security Operations
The CPP31318 Certificate III in Security Operations course is mainly aimed at licensed security officers wishing to increase their skills and knowledge in a broad range of security areas to build their career within the security industry. The course will provide you with the skills needed to perform effectively in a variety of roles in the industry, such as cash-in transit and bodyguard.
For those who have never worked in the security industry and are wanting to obtain a security licence with multiple functions, Guardrite offers the units of competency required to apply to the Office of Fair Trading for a security licence with multiple functions in the roles of unarmed security, crowd control and monitoring. To be eligible for a licence, participants must:
be 18 years or older
undergo a criminal history check
pass the required training course
Participants are not eligible for a licence if they have been convicted of a disqualifying offence in the past 10 years where a conviction was recorded. Participants must also advise the Office of Fair Trading if they have been found guilty of a disqualifying offence in the past 5 years, where a conviction was not recorded (this is known as an “unrecorded finding of guilt”). The Office of Fair Trading may ask for further information to assess if a participant is a suitable person to hold a licence.
Our trainers have extensive experience in all areas of the security industry and have a reputation for providing quality training.
